"When are you free?" — "How about Tuesday?" — "Tuesday's gone, Thursday?" Every coach, consultant and service business loses hours to this. A booking link ends it: you share one link, the client sees your real availability, picks a slot, and it lands on your calendar. No app to buy — Google Calendar does it for free.
Here's how to set it up, and how to make sure people actually use it.
Use Google Calendar's appointment schedules
Google Calendar has a built-in booking feature called appointment schedules. It gives you a clean public page where people book open slots — no plugin, no subscription.
- Open Google Calendar on a computer.
- Click Create → Appointment schedule.
- Name it (e.g. "Discovery call · 30 min") and set the slot length.
- Set your availability — the days and hours you're open to bookings.
- Adjust booking rules if you want (buffer time, max bookings per day, how far ahead people can book).
- Click Save, then open the schedule and copy the booking page link.
That link is your booking page. Anyone who opens it sees only your free slots and books in a couple of taps. The event drops onto your calendar automatically.
Tip: keep the slot to one clear purpose ("15-min intro", "60-min session"). One link, one intent, fewer no-shows.
The catch: a link in your bio isn't enough
A booking link only works when it sits at the moment someone decides to talk to you — right after they've understood what you offer. Tucked away in an Instagram bio, it gets ignored.
It needs to live on the page that sells you:
- As the "Book a call" button on your AI pitch page, directly under your offer and proof
- As a next step on your AI form, so an enquiry flows straight into a booked slot
- On your digital visiting card, so anyone who scans can book you on the spot
| Where the link sits | What happens |
|---|---|
| Buried in a bio | Seen by few, clicked by fewer |
| Under your offer on a pitch page | Clicked while interest is hot |
| On your scannable card | Booked the moment you meet someone |
Put your booking link behind a QR code
- Create your Google Calendar appointment schedule and copy the link.
- Build a free QRYZEN pitch page, form or visiting card.
- Paste the booking link as your "Book a call" button.
- Share or print the QR. Update the link anytime — the printed code never breaks.
Now, instead of trading messages, you hand someone a card or a scan and they book themselves in. The back-and-forth disappears.
Create a free pitch page or form and turn "when are you free?" into a booked calendar.
Scheduling is handled by Google Calendar — QRYZEN hosts the page that carries your booking link.
