Can we collect fees or payments?+
Yes — connect your own gateway (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Cashfree or Instamojo) under Settings → Payments and add a Pay button to a form or page for activity fees, trips or materials. Paid parent-teacher slots can also require payment before the booking is confirmed. Bring-your-own gateways pay 100% to your account.
Do students need an app?+
No — any phone or tablet camera opens the resources in the browser.
Can I collect permission slips digitally?+
Yes — a Google Form QR turns slips and feedback into digital responses, no paper to chase.
Can I update resources after printing the code?+
Yes — add a worksheet or swap a video anytime; the printed code stays the same.
How big should a QR code on a worksheet be?+
About 2–3 cm across is comfortable at arm's length. Scale up for distance: allow roughly 1 cm of code for every 10 cm between the phone and the paper, so a notice-board code scanned from two metres needs to be 15–20 cm.
Can I see how many students actually scanned it?+
Yes, with a dynamic code. Scan counts tell you whether the video you added to a worksheet was used at all — useful information before you spend another evening recording one.
What about student privacy?+
If a form collects student data, follow your school's data policy and keep collection to the minimum you need — a name and a class, not a date of birth, unless you have a reason to.
Who should own the codes — the teacher or the school?+
The school. Codes created in a personal account leave when that teacher does, and a code printed into diaries or textbooks needs to outlast any one staff member. Set them up under a school account from the start.
